I downloaded it and installed it with Mod Organizer. I made sure my data folder didn't have hud_menu.gfx or hud_menu.swf, and I have NetImmerse Override, FNIS (which I ran after I installed 0sex), SkyUI and SKSE (obviously). However, when I try to initiate sex with 0 on the numpad, the camera zooms out like something's going to start, but then, nothing, and I'm stuck like that.

Nah, m8, the ones actually intended to be their own characters are easy enough to tell apart with half a brain, and the rest are specifically made to be the same face just with different textures. They may show less overall variance than some other people's, but they're still higher quality than most everyone else's waifus, especially once you throw in all the custom textures and such.
If you focus on results, ECE is clearly superior.

Yes. Arena and Daggerfall come with some mods already, they're sort of light-remastered. Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all have steam keys and can be redeemed and downloaded digitally; IIRC Morrowind and Oblivion can also be played without Steam but the Skyrim disc literally just has the steam keys for the three as Steam is Skyrim's DRM.

If you go from a game you can run at 60 FPS to Skyrim at 40-50 it will seem pretty bad initially, but honestly after about 15 minutes in Skyrim it probably won't bother you as long as it's steady. At least it doesn't bother me.

Of course its up to you if you want to use a ENB, but vanilla skyrim is hands down one of the ugliest games i ever played, and i can't imagine playing it without ENB.
If you want a ENB that saves performance, go for NLA. Rampage with ambient occlusion and DoF disabled has about the same performance.
Also hodiltons channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/hodilton ) regularly displays new ENB's, but be aware he is using "bullshots"(hes using after effects to make stuff look better) so they might not look exactly like that on your setup.

It gets some points for trying to do something interesting instead of generic draugr/bandit caves, but like I said the other day platforming doesn't work very well in Skyrim. The tropical island looks nice but I've yet to see more of the story or any new dungeons, I haven't played since I arrived at the island.

You don't, you adapt to the new circumstances. But if you absolutely have to, use a NPC id list to get the Reference ID, then open the console and type prid [ID], then resurrect.You can also type player.moveto [ID] to see the dead NPC cell, it's spooky as shit
