I'm on 46% after 160 games with Pharah in SoloQ, no game game dodging. I was in the top 100 briefly for score before exam period hit (2 weeks no gaming).
I usually get at least 2 gold medals and carry the team with damage.
The issue with soloq and Pharah is she can't hold down objectives. In Soloq you will have to do most of the heavy lifting, and even if you are killing the other team as soon as they leave spawn - it isn't going to make a difference if your team isn't taking the objective.
For high win rate in soloq you need a hero that has high sustain, damage and tanking - and can shield or push objectives. Heroes like 76 and Zarya come to mind, Lucio is good too (but low damage).
In soloq you also need to make a choice about what stats you want to buff. For example, if you focus on high K/D ratio you will naturally avoid hot spots (like objectives) to keep your death rate down - but this affects your win rate as you are not contributing to the objective. If you are focusing on score and medals, it doesn't matter if you commit to more risky areas and die more, but your K/D ratio suffers. The issue with score as well is you need time played, so often you will pick your main (Pharah) into a bad match-up (high hitscan) and get less optimal K/D and wins, just to pad your score.
The ideal solution, which the top ranking players use, is to have a pocket healer and a team backing you up. This keeps deaths down and your win rate up, as well as your score.
Though, many casual players don't have the time or energy to invest into finding a team and heal sluts.
So tl;dr - stats don't really matter.

the hitbox on his hook is almost too forgiving, it makes trying to land one on an enemy moving erratically a little easier. and it's not like the enemy team can avoid your hook range forever. especially if you're defending a payload, they have to get cose to it, and there's plenty of maps that allow you to stick behind cover and catch someone by surprise. and once you do you can pretty much vaporize them in 1-2 point blank blasts. i've turned the tides in escorts missions on more than one occasion by keeping my hooks consistent and denying them free range.

I had a look at them the other day and they represent new accounts by experienced players that stomped noobs and then suddenly stopped playing before the forced 50/MMR system kicked in.
The best system to measure skill would be a (score/min)*time played. This would measure score per minute over time and represent players that have consistently performed well, even after being hit by equally skilled players.

Why do sometimes Genji ult shows the slashing animation on enemies yet it deals no damage? Isn't the game supposed to benefit the attracker, so that if something hits in your screen even if in the enemy's screen they didn't get hit they'll get damaged anyway, and this is why you get killed mid recall as Tracer or pulled from behind walls by roadhog? Shouldn't it work the same with him?
