As for rest, I normally never ever roll to rest because it's the most obvious thing in the world for anyone who knows how Jigglypuff plays. After pound can work, or air-dodging into them after baiting out an attack of theirs that has a lot of lag, like when I punished your Marth's up-smash, I took that opportunity to rest. You can also do it off of a late f-air, but it's way too hard for me to do so I don't do that.I have watched Jiggly guides but that's about it, haven't watched guides for any other characters.

Didn't take post-patch needles into account, haven't really played a decent Sheik in a while. Villager is a pretty shit MU, but he does okay when he's able to get in. New jab does wonders especially. Won't say I'm right, though. I'd need to play more experienced players.

Someone else mentioned Ryu. While Ryu definitely has a strong advantage against Ganondorf, it's not a near impossible MU. Ganondorf can out space him enough that he isn't completely overwhelmed and can stuff aerial approaches.

It can really work on any character if you time it just right. You just have to wait for the right moment, like for example, if I were fighting a Sheik, I'd wait for any smash attack except f-smash, or grenade, up+b, etc. All characters have plenty of openings for it. Another thing, if someone does something you can read, like Sheik using her dive at you, you can spot dodge or shield, and then rest. I sometimes let the opponent go on the offensive and then rest as a punish and it works extremely well. The best part is, so many characters have moves you can punish with rest, even just aerial attacks.
I'd say my favorite characters to fight as Jiggly are heavies, because they're just way too easy to body, for me at least. Bayo and Corrin are still my least favorite characters in the game to fight.

Why do footstools feel so inconsistent in this game?
I'm trying to learn Falcon's and Greninja's footstool combos but it feels really inconsistent as to whether I'll footstool off the enemy or just do a double jump.
Is there a trick to it? Will a footstool only work after a certain number of hitstun frames have passed or something?
