opinions on baron vs inhib vary slightly. I think baron is better than one inhib in solo queue because it takes it off the table as a comeback mechanic and allows you to take the enemy team's towers if you use it even slightly effectively.

I understand that dynamic queue is favored by a vast majority of casuals but does Riot not realize what happened to the competitive scene of other games that started to cater to the casuals? When your pros (AKA some of the biggest free advertising for the game when they stream on Twitch) start to hate something you push so hard you're in for a rough time.
I remember during Cata when there was a mass exodus of arena players (lolarena) and most of the PvP community just straight up quit with them. You satisfy the people casuals watch the most and you keep a large portion of your playerbase happy.

i'm in gold, so i'm probably in that large fraction of players for whom it doesn't matter, and i like it because i can casually queue ranked with players around the same rank. (why not normals? because no one, including me, tryhards in normals.)
however, i dislike removing ranked 5s, because now i gotta dig up a silver account to play with my bronze friend (and hope i don't get to gold on that account before he gets to silver), and one of the p5 i play with has to use a gold account because one of the other golds i play with just placed (didn't play ranked for half the season) in high silver and hasn't climbed back to gold yet.

I'm honestly believe it's too late to fix this game. It needs to be redone from the ground up and the entire balance team needs to be replaced. Alternative game modes need to return as well. There's pretty much only Summoner's Rift and ARAM now.
