People blitz to level cap in EVERY mmo. Hell, the only games it doesn't happen in are games like BDO where they make a "soft" level cap that you can then grind endlessly to hit the hard cap.

Well, it's a different market and supply no doubt dropped that value. I can only speak from the perspective of a Fedimian player, but we usually just say dilgele's value is 900 silver. Which, when you consider using it to trade for potions, is just fine. You get to trade 1:1 for level 10 SP potions, which certain Alchemists love to sell for 1.5k or higher on the market. Trading dilgele essentially saves money, and it's easy to get a lot of. Sorc SP potion funds are a real non-issue as a result. Uosis trading is pretty nice, too

If you're having trouble right now with exp than that means you most likely missed alot of side quests (these aren't marked, check tosbase for them by searching tosbase and the map name).
You also might have missed alot of exp cards from the wings of whateveritscalled lady whos to the right of the teleport statue.

The MMO market is still very small back then. Virtually anything that's not completely broken can be a big hit with enough players. No wonder why RO was (still is) a big hit in Asia because it was one of the pioneers for that region.
Keep in mind that Asia MMO market is vastly different from Western MMO. That's why people are still tolerate ToS fucking up in Asia; they are craving this kind of game, and games like this are very rare.

Wow, that's funny. Every time I have a non-swordie run in 200+ it takes 5 times longer and somebody always dies. It's impossible to burst AoE the enemies down because they're all chasing different people, everyone dies in 2-3 hits because we all rolled builds designed to have a tank in the party, and at least one person - usually a Fletcher - throws a temper tantrum about how useless we are for not rolling tanks so that he can deeps like a cool guy.
I mean, I guess you're right, because everyone does hate the swordsman. Everybody laughs at them for rolling a useless non-DPS class, even though the above situation always happens when nobody DID roll a useless non-DPS class.
