Running away = losing the 1v1. If you don't remove the enemy and make them respawn then you haven't beaten them.
Reaper is god tier actually, literally the only other characters in the cast he cannot completely dominate are Mei, Pharah, and McCree if he has flashbang off cooldown. That's a better ratio of favorable matchups to unfavorable matchups then any other character, which is the most important thing when your whole gameplan is to get behind the enemy and start taking soft targets out one by one.

I say this as someone that got sub 100 on Mei ranking as well, Mei is fun to play when she works but she doesn't work against competent players and teams.
If your only excuse is that she does better for shitters than another hero due to her firing mechanic you don't have a point, the game shouldn't be balanced around people that don't want to learn the basics.

Pyro had important utility roles, mainly spy checking, that simply aren't present in OW. He was also decent at medium range between compression blast and shotgun. He was also one of the best ubercharge targets. Despite all this he was still one of the weakest classes. He still wasn't used in comp. A good pyro could realistically kill a soldier, demo, or scout from medium range; Mei can't do the same do a Pharah, Junkrat, or Tracer. Her ice walls often help the enemy team more than Mei's; I lost a lot of kills tonight because my rockets hit blue ice.
Pissing off the other team is the only thing she's good at, but so are other characters that are better at winning games.

The port is done very, very well and it controls fine. You don't need 10/10 aiming skills in this like you do for other shooters, regardless of what people in here will tell you, so it made the transition to consoles well. That being said, I found most PS4 people will jump from one multiplayer game to another as soon as they release unless it's Destiny, GTA, or CoD. Doom, Metal Gear, Killzone, Battleborn, and Battlefield are all dead.

A tank is a class that can eat signifcantly more damage than other tanks, while also being able to shield/dish damage
Like in any other game thats ever existed, tanks only thrive when a healer is watching them closely.
Tanks in WoW dont just stand there fighting the raid boss for 20 minutes without getting healed
