Part 1: Aigis was alone
Aigis was alone, sitting in the dorms talking to a dog. That dog, was a little spry pup named Koromaru. Aigis became hungry for oil, and decided to part ways with the dog, and venture off to the 2nd floor of the dorm.
Part2: They meet
Aigis tired from a hard day of talking to the dog, walks up stairs and sits next to the vending machine. The vending machine was her best friend. Sometimes she would stick her up inside it and try to touch the product inside. It made her feel alive.
Part 3: He's home
"I'm home" said Ken, stumbling after a hard day of booze and drugs. Koromaru moans and puts his puppy paws over his eyes like in every bad kids movies featuring dogs.

Aigis was still recounting her conversation with the dog to the vending machine, when suddenly she looks over and see Ken slowly climbing up the stairs. "Oh..Oh no..." She said, in a soft whisper tone towards the vending machine. "Eh slut, what the fuck are you doing?" Ken said with a commanding voice. "Get over here you glorified sex toy". Well that's how I looked at it before someone asked the question, so I figured I'd try and see if there really is a reason.
Honestly, I still feel my argument is okay for the actual high school student members. Junpei is my primary example. If SEES wasn't a club, then he would be forced to join some other club and would probably always be too tired for the Dark Hour. He seems to have the least work ethic and never mentions joining any other clubs (from what I remember at least)
But then we have Ken and Koromaru which throws the whole thing out, in which case, yeah they're just exactly what they are with the cool armbands and everything else
