When I first got into FPS games on PC, it was with one of my friends who was a pro gamer in counterstrike (1.4 or 1.6 I don't remember). He told me to crank the mouse sensitivity to 20 and learn to play like that. So I did.

People will say he's easy to kill if you know how, yet the same is true for any class, so that's a moot point.
The point is he can constantly heal/buff everyone around him (not single target) without having to do a thing. And when he does do something it's just to buff everyone even more with a press of a button.
Plus he's fast, plus he has a half way decent weapon with a secondary fire mode that can be a great benefit in practically every fight.
I believe Mercy can output more healing per second, but she's single target and has to dedicate herself to that heal/buff. Also her pistol is shit to the point that's practically useless in battle.

He can also change the healing to movespeed if he wants, he has an oustanding ult.

Alright, pretty much maining Symmetra 24/7 when I'm in doubt.

Pretty much I'm not picking her only when the enemy has already a half decent Symmetra, we already have one, or we really need other means of support or attack. When there's an enemy Symmetra I usually don't find it worth it to have another teleport over just hunting the other Symmetra and fucking her over since I know all the good turret/teleport positions.

got 25 kills / 16 teleports this match, 12 kills with turrets. While she's not a healer, the teleport is pretty much 80% of ressing people, and the shield helps more than people think.

Well don't.
Reaper can deal with Torb or the turret, but not both.
Roadhog can't do a thing about either since he has to get close to begin with.
Go Winston, if it's just a turret and Torb, no enemy team to bother you, you can just jump right in front of it, set down a shield, and M1 them from the safety of your shield.
When your shield breaks, jump back out. You should have at least killed one of the two or done good damage.

Not him, but I don't rely on the turret. I put the turret up in a decent spot, let it garner attention while my team defends the area as well, then flank with Torb and shotgun the fuck out of people while they focus on everything else.
The turret is usually best used as a way to soften them up while you and your team end them
