I always find cards that I think "wow those look really fun" then I play one of my friends and it locks them down or stalls the game for 500 turns. I've been doing this for like 13 years now across multiple card games and now no one plays against me unless it's a tournament

I've come across people who hate what I play sometimes but I usually stick to players who also play meta. People who go "I'm tired of playing DAD, Blackwings, Plants, etc" when they see your deck are usually sore losers who aren't worth the time to play with in a casual match.
