It was the most fun five to six minutes I ever played in Battleborn, before we finally lost.
I was an untouchable god, raining death from the heavens. The melee characters would just look at me perched up there, and I'd do that infuriating taunt before shooting rockets at them. The Shayne kept throwing boomerangs at me, and even used their ult, but it wasn't enough.
I went like 5-1 in the short amount of time the match had left, it was fucking beautiful.
Rockets take some getting used to though, have to keep reminding myself to lead the target.

A lot of legendary gear feels crap. I know there are a few broken ones but most of them are pretty garbage extra effects for their price.
Basically you get the 2 epic quality stat boost + the effect. An epic is around 850-1000 to activate. So you basically paying 800+ shards for the effect.
Not to mention you probably don't build shit while doing it.

I play Rath and I 1v1 constantly with them. It is a waste of time. Do smash, hit with crossblade, ult, and she has like 40% health by the time it ends. I hope they cut her resistance down because no healer should be that bulky. I basically have to wait till she is half health before attacking since it is pointless otherwise.
Not to mention she can spec into an escape to make her even harder to kill. It is why almost every Alani has like 3 deaths max.

My set up there works perfectly fine. 800 HP for any character, very nice.
And shield penetration works, just look out for the additional number when you hit a target. You still do full damage to shields, but a percentage of that damage bleeds through as well.

Make sure somebody with a good CC stays at a distance when he engages you, and wait for him to pop Sublimate. Get in there, CC him out of it, and then focus him to death.
Sublimate is a great skill but it's dual purpose and if you can catch him using it offensively instead of as a retreat, he has no way to get away.

Honest question, did anybody actually think that would be good? I remember hearing about it when it was coming out and assumed it'd be a pile of shit like the Aliens vs Predator game. It completely met my expectations. How fucking butt hurt do you have to be to beat a dead horse into paste.
I'll probably be called a Gearbox shill, but Battleborn is literally the second Gearbox game I've enjoyed enough to spend more than 5 hours playing. The first was the second Borderlands game, which I didn't even enjoy, but my younger brother loved it so I ended up playing through that awful, boring game twice.
