The bots aren't even generally doing anything players can't do anyway. Players can grind silver and items themselves and destroy the economy. The problem is
-Spamming all over world and local chat
-Making it hard to complete quests with their bot hordes
-Teleporting and hitting things nowhere near themselves
Those are the problems that need to be fixed, and none of those fixes involve trade/market restrictions.

If you want some sort of optional sub, you have to do something that makes it worth paying for, else you're going to fall into just making people gamble their money away or nickel-and-dime-ing them on things like revives.

Why wouldn't I? I don't have enough silver to bring the other C2 skills up to par yet. Not enough gear or stats and all leveling them up does is increase the flat damage.
At least with Deeds, yes, I'm walking with no armor but hit hard. My goal is to just put on full cloth and go find a map full of magic mobs and grind there.
Zornhau and Crown reduce the int of monsters to next to nothing, with a cloth armor set every magic mob end game literally hits me 1 damage.
Then of course against physical mobs I'll bring my plate set.
