Its adrain sombody put on their oil pan. it would be super handy since you could just turn it by hand without a wrench to drain the oil.

The issue is that it could easily get snagged on something that goes under the car like a tree branch, or even a rock getting launched up by a wheel and hitting it, breaking it right off.

Theres also the issue that magnetic oil pan drain plugs are really great because all the little metal bits stick to them and you can pull them right out on the plug when you do an oil change.

I do play machinecuc every now and then, and might play it more now that it's on Steam and I don't have to manually update it every time I decide to play anymore, but for me it doesn't really have enough to do to keep me on it for very long. It's mostly build cool stuff and then hang around other people with everyone showing off what they made, and the occasional fight here and there. I know some people have race maps and other stuff like that, but it seems like the type of thing that doesn't happen very often.

But when I play a game, I need an objective to focus on, or a goal to work towards, otherwise I lose interest in playing after a while. Robocuc at least has the objective of kill all the enemies, and capture towers/kill enemy base if you're playing BA mode, and doing that earns RP for you to buy more/better guns and stuff to continue doing that and trying new builds.

I kinda had the same problem with Minecraft. Sure you could build gigantic structures, or dig deep underground and explore caves and shit, but it was mostly open ended and there was no real reason to do anything. I had way more fun with Terraria even though it's 2d, because it actually had shit to progress to and gave me a goal to work towards.

This is The Seed: Warzone. It's a PS2 strategy game with spaceship building elements.

It seems alright for the first three stages and then you get absolutely facefucked by red ships coming out of the woodwork. You'd think it's fine having a normal RTS overworld cut out to an unskippable automatic battle whenever two opposing units meet, until these start to happen repeatedly within seconds of each other and all situational awareness disappears.

Friends, you all are looking at one of the consummate /egg/ games of all time. It's the pinnacle of autism. You could make a galaxy-spanning empire, colonize ringworlds, travel for irl months in a straight line and put down root in some new, strange region of space, all in the shittiest-looking block-based ships you can imagine.

The game tracked every dollar spent by every one of your thousands of citizens, building a detailed economic model of society which you would have to blatantly confiscate money from because the developer is a Libertard who wants to prove that taxes are just as bad as stealing.

All that calculation meant the servers were flakier than mom's pastry. You think spengies is bad? No, son, just no. Moving between solar systems would occasionally disable your account for months. Months. Can't log in, can't do shit, until the dev or the one mod with server access personally went to your exact account to reset it.

Keeping about a dozen people playing was apparently fully using multiple server racks, which got expensive. Since the dev was a hardcore Libertard, as I mentioned, he was too proud to take donations, so one day he shuts down the game without warning.

And now it's back! And rather than doing something sensible, like open sourcing the shit game to build hype for kickstarting an engine overhaul to make it not shit... he's charging monthly subscriptions like it's fucking WoW. Fan fucking tastic.

I cannot encourage you enough to not pay for the game. But by all means poke around the forum and get a sense of what's there. Finest clang and drama you're likely to find this side of the internets.

Sabot and shaped charge are amazing. You don't remove as many blocks, but you remove the blocks that matter, and not all of the exterior armor.

Crams are slow as fuck, and useless against anything but a big slow boat. Go fight the Lightning hoods with your crams and watch how hardcore you get fucked. You won't land one shot.

Why the fuck is there a limit to 'bodies' in Machinecraft.

I didn't realize I had a limit to joints until I couldn't enter servers - and you can't even change the value when making a server so I couldn't even join my own.

My suspension uses like 30 bodies, and the cap is 65 for some reason. The rest I use for placing blocks accurately. Now I have to scrap the cool suspension for pleb looking stuff.

You can use the build mode on engineering ships to place blocks down, yeah, but its kind of a pain in the fucking ass because it still has the same range as normal placement does by hand. Engineering ships are second to none if you are building a ship from blueprint though, you just have to be careful and weld it, usually from bottom to top, in a precise manner if you don't want to be tearing it apart to find a battery you left in a corner and didn't finish.
Pretty much all you need is a solid design and then to mass produce ships with engineering ships. I usually have two engineering ships deticated to welding with four welders and one or two that are the same but deticated to grinding, but if I need to do both i'll just go half and half on one of them.

They work well enough in single player.

Multiplayer blueprints are a little bugged atm tho. You could weld a block and it wouldn't show as completed (or even started) until you grinded it a little bit.

they're a really convinent way to duplicate whatever you have saved without having to place a non-nillion blocks again, and also remember names, groups, and cockpit presets. They're also good if you have a standardized ship design and need to repair it. You can project the blueprint of the ship onto itself from its own grid and perform repairs that way, instead of manually finding and replacing what's broken. I'm pretty sure as soon as this came out someone tested a concept of self-repairing armor, and it actually works, though on a MP server i'm sure it would probably just die due to desync

make pistons invisible (Transparent 0 0 0)
go to groups and set the pistons to MERGE
