Also, anon, I would recommend trying out streaming services and gathering some music friends. Since I've been using streaming services for a year it's crazily broadened my awareness of what I like. Good amount of custom playlists and ways of discovering hidden gems in music. Getting some music minded friends to share and to share to is also top notch.

It's mostly due to the style and the details, that's the most challenging part. Oh I feel you. I lasted pretty long in my last fandom, which also had the >tfwnoupdateever thing. I ran on my own fuel for about a year afterward before getting into Undertale. I'll probably autistically linger for 6 months after everyone else moves on.

You'd be surprised. I've been in generals where there's 600 requests for art at any given time, but if you fill any of them, you're just ignored. Maybe you get one (You) that says "i don't like the shade of blue you used" and that's it. It's really demotivating.

I don't really want to get into it but there are a lot of generals where people are just assholes, I used to visit this one that only has like 3 drawfags now and no writefags due to always attacking them for whatever reason or getting mad when they post art somewhere else or not doing one of their requests or.. man I don't even remember
