Okay look at it this way, it'd take four runs of Z8 (75 stamina/240000) to rank up from rank 300 to rank 301, assuming each time it takes 4 runs, then that would mean that it would be 800 runs(400000 MP) to get all the way to rank 500. However, the amount of runs it takes to rank up will increase gradually until it gets to the point where you'll only be able to have just enough stamina to rank up from Z8 and noting else, which is where the extra 277 runs and 138500 MP are from.
