I think I finally realized why there's no real "pro-gaming scene" in fighting games (anime fighters included). I mean, like getting paid 6 figures for playing fighting games type of job.
Because, even a game like BlazBlue (which I was told is super easy and for babbies), makes all the popular, millions paying "e-sport" games (CS:GO, Dota 2) look like pathetic shit for braindeads in comparison.t. someone who's literally in the 95+ percentile of best Dota 2 players
Fighting games are way too hard for the braindead toxic children (either physically or mentally) who are 90% of the e-sport audience, so the scene is just not quite as marketable => no millions to earn.

Actually in all the routes available in BBCT, BBCS, and BBCP, even Alter Memory, no one has been able to escape being absorbed by Arakune without some form of intervention. Once he engulfs or ensnares them, they are fucked. Ragna even commented that he couldn't feel any strength when he was dragged into Arakune as the sludge covered him if he loses to him in his BBCT route. I'm pretty sure he starts siphoning your energy as soon as he sucks you in.
