With the current formation AI, and the relative strength of cavalry, its not possible to properly experience it.
With Bannerlord maybe we can have some mod where cavalry is only used for flanking/routing, skirmishers move in and our of combat to throw projectiles and disrupt formations, and two groups of heavily armored footmen slog it out in the middle, staying tight together.But probably not.

2. Is Native Expansion for Warband still a thing or should I just go straight to Floris?

It's been awhile since I poked around the files with openBRF
I think I remember now the problem being that the normal map was shared with the male body texture as well and removing it would cause it to look weird, when playing as male sailor.
I think I even tried to manually erase the bra normal map in Paint.NET but obviously had no clue what I was doing.
Got any advice anon? I kinda wanna see if I can do this again, properly this time.
