Now that popularity is neutered they should work a lot harder trying to come up with themes that have more universal appeal. I heard it suggested a few times that this Splatfest for example should of been something like Dinosaurs vs Robot, a theme that on the face of it wouldn't be very lopsided towards any one option. Maybe one day they will figure this out and give the themes alittle more thought then they do now.

The issue is the past few themes have had one very appealing option and one most people don't care about which throws the whole thing out of wack. Art vs Science is an example of a good theme. Popularity was pretty much down the middle 51% in favor of Art and Art barely got enough wins at 51% to win it but obviously it could of easily gone the other way.

Whats the best way to deal with the golden roller?
I'm mostly using the zapper and its got a similar range to me, if not greater, and it takes about a solid 2 seconds of fire to kill him while it one shots me every time.
I'm currently just avoiding them unless I can hard flank, but if its defending a chock point or has the high ground I feel like hes unassailable.

Play with a weapon that either has echo or point sensor (point sensor makes people act more cautiously though). Study your opponents way of moving. As for Dynamos specially, they usually play ambush so use your sub to flush them out of cover or angle your shots over walls just to see if you get a hit to know if they're there. If they aren't in cover, there is a tiny window of opportunity after their first shot, but if you can't splat them in that time from the side or back then you're already dead.
