I've been saying this for years. Digital is the way to go with the vita if you are honestly worried about your data, collecting is a separate issue. Also, considering you can back up your own games, your games are as safe as you want them to be. I have my games on my secondary drive, I have a back up in a separate location and I pay for a cloud storage solution. In order for me to lose my games Sony has to die, my SSD need to die, my back up needs to die, and the server farm that has my data needs to die all in the same day.
For physical fags, all they have to so is misplace their cart or have their bag stolen.

It only takes one mistake, you can take that risk with your data if you want. A house fire, a flood, a move residence and misplace a box, then bam it's all gone. If you a "Collector" that's one thing, your a collector it's what you do. If you care more about being able to play the games you own in 20 years than having nice plastic boxes then digital with backups is the way to go.
