I would say it's worth that. I actually played First Light before Second Son, while I was waiting for it to come in the mail.
The story is pretty short, but you'll get a little extra play time out of 100% the map. The arena modes are where most of the time will go. It's split between just wave survival and objective based survival, with a bunch of meta challenges to complete during them that give you XP for more abilities.
I've probably gotten at least 15 hours out of it, and I haven't finished the plat yet. If you're someone who doesn't just drop a game after plat too I'm sure the arena will have you coming back for a while, too.

It's been stated multiple times that the game is being developed for PS4 only. It's in much the same situation as the rest of Taros works, it's not bound to any given platform by an exclusivity contract - it's just only on PS4 becuase Taros audience has proven to be on Sony consoles. To give a directly relatable example, Drakengard 3 was PS3 exclusive two years ago when it released and it still is today, and it also was never bound by any exclusivity contracts.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a "timed exclusive", in that it's an exclusive release on one platform initially that is specifically planned for release on other platforms later - as in they've specifically stated it will release on platforms other than what it was on first.
Nier Automata is not currently planned for release on any platform besides PS4 and the developers have not stated they intend to release it on other platforms later either (Square PR have said it's not out of the picture, but that's a very different statement). This doesn't mean it won't ever happen, but it doesn't mean it will either.
tl;dr It's currently only in development for PS4, - because of audience rather than any sort of exclusivity contract - and they have no intentions to release it elsewhere at this time.

+10 stats is a fair amount early on if invested properly. Near meaningless in the long term unless you want true max stats or something.
Same goes for 10m HL. Tons at first, worth nothing later (I think I have something like 5 trillion now and I'm not done with post-game).
Numbers scale up super big.
Just use different mechanics when you feel comfortable if you're still in the story/early post-game.

Kilia and red magus are currently my big hitters. I had some missions where I would send in useless units to die so red magus could use his overload and oneshot 9 units at the same time with some special attack while kilia can almost oneshot story bosses. The only really useful units I currently have besides those two are my healer, usalia for damage buffs and my red mage who can also oneshot most enemies over a fuck huge range. Should I even bother with training monsters? Mon-toss and the weapon transformation give me almost jack shit, it's something like 50 more damage for kilia while my sword has 1700 already.

You need to create a Sage (easy to farm later on because they have a spell that do damage on everything on the map). They have a spell that oneshot geo symbol.
In the cheat shop, put the difficulty to max stars (20) and enter itemworld of your highest carnage item (even low carnage item are better than high "regular" item). If you dont see a geo symbol, just quit and retry, the map will change everytime. When you see a geo symbol, destroy it with the sage spell and you should get max class on your sage. Now you have to do this with every class of the game on a single character (you can change subclass in the assembly menu).
Once it's done, reincarnate to lv 1, put your sage in a max elite four group and level it to 9999 again. It should have 10M base stats.
Now you need to cry a lot and farm the asagi map for extract. If you have the Metalia DLC, it's easier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oVDSh_5c7A
Once it's done (the fusioned extract has 10M stats), use a Maid with the evility that make you use item in a cross patern to give it to 5 character at the same time (or just one if you dont care). You now should have 20M base stats.
I dont remember the evility setting, but you can easily double your stats so you get to 40M. You can also farm chara world to get max bonus (in %) stats everywhere if you want.
Now you have to get a carnage Trap. For this, you need to find the item just before, the carnage Arcadia. Item world until level 98 > Gency out, save your game. Now go back and get to the Item God, he have a carnage trap on him. Steal it.

The most difficult grind in the game is now. You need to set up the difficulty in the cheat shop to 20 stars. Why ? Because doing so increase your item kill bonus quicker, and without it some people are in the lv ~2000 of the item and still not max stats. I dont remember what is the max bonus, but look it on the net. Maybe 500 ?
The setting I used to farm my carnage trap is this: your uber sage with 40M stats, magichange on her Usalia+Metalia (I have Metalia, but a Fox lady should do the trick too). Dont forget to equip the double dragon unique evility to do 2 attacks in a row if you dont move. If you have the laharl DLC, also equip the Girl Laharl evility giving you a free attack on your first turn (so you can do 3 attack in a row on your first turn).
Put around your sage 3 Angels with the Kitty Cat evility that make them immune to ally damage (Softening aura) plus Christo (with the angel unique evility equiped). That way you get a +100% atk modifier. Lastly, use a Prof to magic boost your sage. With this, you should be able to kill everyone on the map in one turn. To give you an idea, it's the setting I used to get to the golden damage trophy.
Once your trap kill bonus is maxed, you can get back to 0 stars to finish the farm quickly, much easier. When it's max stats (you cant do item assembly to boost it's stats anymore), just farm in your trap item world until you get a bonus room wich can duplicate the item. It's not a 100% chance of success, I think it's something like 50% only.
You'll need 3 max stats traps and you should have max stats or close.
But if you dont want to grind traps, you can get the platinium trophy with "only" 40M base stats because you dont need to defeat Baal or carnage baal.
I may have forget some stuff, been a while since I played the game, but it's should take you a couple of hours to do most of it for now.
