I don't know about that though. You mentioned Gud Bonnie and I think it works as a prefect example of contexts adding to a picture. People remember it and often talk about it because of the story it presented. I wouldn't have been the same if these were nothing but two blank slates mashing their junk against each other. Oh yes, I know that frustration well myself. With work you put your soul into it's wonderful to be noticed but primarily all you can do is do it for yourself. Depends on how the loop machine works. If we just turn it off then do we jump to the present? And most likely the loop machine just locks us from whenever it was turned on until when the loop machine was set to reset, which is at the end of the loop.
If there's some way of making the loop machine adjust it's reset point to sometime before the loop starts in the current timeline, then that way we can fix whatever broke this current timeline and deactivate the loop machine, since presumably whatever happens afterwards is based on our actions in the loop, the BITE would have never occurred in the timeline after we turn off the loop machine, thus saving Oracle and not having to ever go to Freddy's. Unless there's some extra time bullshittery that we're gonna find out about.

The problem with that is that Scott has proven time and time again that he has no idea what the fuck he's doing with the FNAF franchise. Signing off the rights to a movie shows that he lacks integrity, 4 shows that he doesn't adhere to his own previously established lore, and the book shows that he has no concept of quality control. Actually, one post last night did get me thinking though: When a character is being fucked, it's like they stop being the same character, they are just being fucked.
That said, being fucked is a compromising position, more feral instincts tend to kick in. Things like a flushed face, moaning, and whatnot are almost universal.
How could an artist avoid their porn becoming samey outside of extreme fetishes?
I mean, I love me some extreme fetishes, but that is an interesting thing to think about. There are archetypes I try to work with when putting one of my own characters in a sexual position (dominating, a goofball, stoic, attempting to be stoic, submissive, like Vaw, etc) as well as how hard they fight their primal instincts, but even then I admit I'm simplifying a character to fit a sexual persona that matches said character the closest I can manage.
Made me realize outside of Toy Bonnie in TWY, none of my characters in porn really establish themselves independently in sexual situations aside from maybe Nightmare Bonnie in Le Cauchemar but even then, that's incredibly subjective.

There's nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't mean everyone should just stay quiet about what they personally would like to see. Whether or not anyone agrees or an ocfag makes comment on it doesn't mean they should just keep it shut. If someone would like to see something different from Snax or Crisis' norms, that doesn't mean that the ocfag is obligated to do it or anything. It's just feedback. What is done with it is ultimately up to the content maker. Saying stuff like "but I like their norm" doesn't mean that their opinion should be disregarded, because like you said, it's all subjective. It should be up to the ocfag to decide what to take from that opinion.
That being said, there's nothing wrong with saying you like what they do already and there is nothing wrong with them continuing what they do normally. Saying their content is bad only because it's their norm is just as retarded as saying that anyone objecting to their norm is bad for it. Objectively, there is a lack of variety in their subject, sure. But if they specialize in it, and people enjoy it as is, then they have no real obligation to stray from it. Personally I'm not a fan of Snax's drawing, but her writing was pretty entertaining. I find it unfortunate that she lost interest due to lack of response, but it's nice that she found a niche that gives her what she wants, while pleasing a crowd, even if it isn't for me. Pokemaniacal has taken the mantle of premier writefag, so I still have something to look forward to in the written area of content, so I can't complain.
I feel bad that I am technically part of the problem when it came to Burlesque's indefinite hiatus, since I rarely gave feedback to anything. The perceived lack of interest can definitely kill motivation.

One of the reasons he didn't open the box is because he likes how people have created their own fanons and stories with FNAF and he didn't want to disappoint them with his official explanation. And he stated that for something like a book or movie a lot of things would need to be expanded on and altered to work for the different medium.
Also, the human tendency to be upset that how they think and feel about what something should be and do isn't followed. Adapting a book into a movie or TV series always upsets people who don't like the casting choices, how the sets look, how the action sequences are done, etc because they have their own versions of how all those look and go in their minds and won't accept the "official" version presented by the movie/TV show. Imagine how many people here would have been upset if the FNAF book was all four games with every single mystery and character and event completely explained and put into a definitive timeline like how many other people have been demanding Scott do, and how many people would be upset over how Scott's versions of Freddy and friends would act and attack differently than how they've imagined they would.
