But I can't recall anything that might happen in the last half of the month that would warrant kimono unless they stretch out New Year's similar to what they did with Christmas all of December. I'm still a bit grumpy the card stories lead into the secret lessons instead of involving the girls while they're visiting the shrine.

Character designs are all excellent. It's rare that there are this many waifus AND fuccbois that I like. No other game would I tolerate an all male team but in GBF my Light Reverse Harem is fun.
The music is top tier as well, I love listening to the Celeste island BGM on loop, then there's the great boss music like the Baha theme.
Gameplay is reminiscent of old school JRPGs that are hard to come across these days. The combat is turnbased but has more depth than most others like it. Characters like Naru, Yoda and Beatrix are a lot of fun to experiment with.
Also, I need something to grind to keep me occupied. GBF offers just about the right ration of grind:reward to make it enjoyable to watch my time invested into my teams pay off.
And of course, there's an entire race of shortstacks and Djeeta exists. So I could play for that alone.

You can right click and go "Translate into english" it's jumbled garbage 99% of the time but you will most of the time only need that if anything.
