Just by that simple fact we know he can use his lance in archer class and since hes not fucked in the brain he could use all of its abilities not just one.

There are only like two Servants with enough weapons to solo Herc from a full stock of lives, EMIYA and Gil. We know Gil can do it because we saw it happen in UBW, and EMIYA managed to take out like half if his lives while holding the line; he might be able to solo Herc in more favorable circumstances. Might.
Lancelot could probably take more lives than the average Servant, but he'd run out of shit sooner or later, and Herc's Battle Continuation can fuck him over.
And then there's David who can just bypass the whole thing.
