Well we are getting quite a bit of quartz, and you should have plenty of quest with the quest/free quest from LONDON.
From the event, you get 16 quartz and a ticket. We will get a random amount ranging from 2-12 quartz on the niconico stream event on the 4th.
If you just farm free quests from now, I think you can make it to 40.
Also, while you can't use it for that gacha, your tickets will be refreshed in your cube shop after 1/1. You can use that for limited time servant gacha.

The game is on a level where you can clear everything with 3~4* and below. It's not like other mobage where you desperately need the 5*.
5* are luxury items like skins or cash shop items(that also has a really low chance to drop from normal gameplay). I really don't see the problem with them making this event(which is basically cash-shop sale to go along with another event that benefits f2p players) paid only.

They're giving a shitty version of a system another game already uses. They're giving you the option to pay something like $40 to get a random 5* of a limited pool, which notably does not include any of the new ones, Gilgamesh, or Kintoki and has the option to give you Orion, who is literally worse than some 4* archers.
That's not giving a free 5*, in any way. There are many other games where you can just pay a lower price and get to choose what unit you get.
