I'll actually replay it.
It's hard for me to really hate a game, but the big difference between Sonic games I really like, e.g. S3&K, the Adventures, and games I don't really care for, e.g. Lost World, is that I actually feel like replaying the games I like, whereas I don't have much of an urge to replay Lost World. I had a decent amount of fun with it the first time, but that's about it.

Speaking of replay, I think Sonic Team still doesn't realize that the games don't have to be that long. Some of the most well received games in the series are really quite short. A lot of what makes them so fun is replaying the levels, whether it be to get stuff you missed before, getting a better time, or just for fun. Instead, Sonic Team finds some way to pad the game out to lengthen game time even though said methods are usually crap (Even Generations suffered from this with the extra missions, though those were by and large optional except for the 3 times you had to do them)

I was just reading that. Sounds like a lot of porting work. I would really hate it if it would mean less new games, specially since there have been barely any new games lately, there's been no innovation worth a damn, and most games aren't anything close to being great to be worth a port.
