Alright, so I just finished playing Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, a GCN game, on Nintendont through USB Loader GX.
I'm going to play Radiant Dawn, its sequel on the Wii, through USBLoader GX.
The Wii title normally would allow me to transfer save data from the Gamecube title in order to access special bonuses by inserting the memory card into the Wii.
Is it possible to transfer this save data that's on the emulated memory card that Nintendont uses? I've messed with it a bit and can't figure it out, and Google yields no results.

Nope. Buy a cheap gamecube memory card, and transfer the game that way. Also, unless you have Rev 02 of Radiant Dawn, there's a high chance that it wont transfer your data regardless.

Do you mean that one glitch in early copies of the game that would crash it if you tried to transfer from a game that had an easy mode save on it? I never touched easy mode so that shouldn't be an issue. Unless you mean something else.

there isn't really a solution to transfer the save, you'd have to somehow point usbloader_gx to see the virtual card as plugged in, and yeah... that's not implemented.

No, just buy the card, then use one of the various homebrew channel gamecube save transfer tools to transfer your existing save to said card, then play Radiant Dawn.

Strange, was it only easy saves? My old day one physical copy froze when attempting to import my Normal save. Could be remembering wrong though.
As for your issue if you feel like doing some shenanigans I believe you could export your Wii/GCN saves into the Dolphin emulator on your PC, get your goodies, and put the new goodie filled save back into your Wii.

Yeah you're stuck with 9.5 emuNAND for now. Newer keys needs to be dumped for higher firmware or something like that. There may be ways to spoof the eShop with cfw, but I didn't bother since I don't need eShop access on my cfw n3ds.

I can't see why they wouldn't be, but I'd advise against it or just heavily mod the guts. Fat PS3s are already on borrowed time, they heat up your room by several fucking degrees. It was 30F outside last year during winter, I had my heater off, and while playing my PS3 I had to open the window in order to stop being uncomfortably warm. Had mine YLOD eventually and got a slim with zero issues since then.

not the above anon but I'm having the problem with previously owned DLCs+cia-insalled DLCs. I buyed Roy and Ryu when they where launched and got Mewtwo via CN, now when I installed the update (1.1.3) and then the DLC packs 4 and 5 nothing happens, I tried deleting the dlc data via data managment then re-installing the cias but the only dlc stuff that is loaded is the stuff I buyed, no costumes, no stages, no Lucas/Cloud, can you point me in the right direction please?

If you want CFW I'd take the fat. Changing the thermal paste and such alone will help a lot, but if you live in a hot area and play the PS3 for hours at a time then it's a hard sell. You can find slims on Craigslist/eBay for about $100-150 max now days, if the PS3 you're buying is still on 3.55 then I'd definitely go for it. It's really up to you. My room is tiny so the heat was just an extra bad condition for me. If you can even leave your door open slightly it'd help albeit still a noticeable temperature rise. I can't say I miss my fat but if I could hack it maybe it'd be a different story.

I'm currently on version 5.5 for the Wii U since I was never interested in homebrew before now, I went through OpenDNS and blocked the update domains so I can potentially use the 5.5 exploit being released soon.

I extracted the ticket.db from emuNAND using Decrypt9 and then tried to create a .cia file from one of the titles. FunkyCIA2 created raw data but failed when creating a .cia. Is there another way to approach creating a .cia file from an emuNAND eShop title? Is there a fix for FunkyCIA2 that allows for .cia creation on frimware 10.3 (is that even the problem)?

- How does emuNAND updating work? I mean, I read that you can either play a game that comes with the version that you want to upgrade to or simply update through System Settings but I'm not sure if this is right.
- N3DS emuNAND can't be updated past 9.5. Does this mean that games like Fire Emblem If that come with higher versions won't work no matter what you do? Or it doesn't apply to CIAs? What are the prospects for future N3DS emuNAND updates?

For Original 3DS its as simple as booting into emunand then system settings and making sure that it say RX-E (insert firmware version number) after you see that dont exit and head over to system update
For New3DS the process is a little different since its stuck at 9.5. First you have to get the 9.5 NEW 3ds update from 3dsiso (some people fuck up and forget theres two completely different FWs for both old and new 3ds) put it on your SD, Then boot into emunand and use either BBM or sysupdater to update
Since new games coming out will require higher firmwares to play them you have to wait for firmware spoofed versions of games. Thats what people have been doing up to this point and its worked fine so far unless nintendo drastically changes things up when they introduce MyNintendo accounts in march

first do sudo blkid and figure out which drive is your first sd card, probably the last thing on the list then use dd to copy the sd card to a file
sudo dd bs=4M if=/dev/sdc of=3dsdump.bin ;sync
replace /dev/sdc with the proper drive
next put in the second sd card and do
sudo dd bs=4M if=3dsdump.bin of=/dev/sdc ;sync
If you can plug in both sd cards at once you can skip the file step and just go from card to card (so /dev/sdx on both side)
after that copy off all your files, resize the fat32 partition, resize the fat32 partition, put files back, and you're done

If this specific matters, I will get back to you, but what I got from the site is that as long as I'm not updated past update 10. something, I am good to go to use the "slider"... format of exploit.

You can use the nightlies with the spider exploit, but if you did the only difference would be that you spent some time messing around with the folders to get it to work. It would be useful if you want it to autoboot or to use another entrypoint, but if you don't care it's not worth it.

If you're indeed on 8.X then though you should look into setting up Custom Firmware (CFW). It offers many benefits like emunand and piracy, but the native region-free would be of most use to you it seems.
