You don't even need to kill anything with the recent interception changes that automatically end a round. Get 4x Energy Siphon and max efficiency on everyone and you can do it for however long you want. Just make sure to run around in the last few seconds of a round or you'll be marked afk.

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but is it really necessary to max out mandatory mods (Serration/Primed frame mods)? I've got Serration, Primed Flow and Primed Continuity (and several others) around R7 and have my mod loadouts built around that. Is it worth burning a shitton of cores and having to re-mod my everything for the relatively small boosts maxing them will provide (eg. R7 to R10 Serration gives +45%, or half an elemental mod)?

There's basically two builds for Trin that anyone uses: EV and Bless. EV is more generally useful, and generally involves building for max strength and efficiency (I think), with the optional addition of the Vampiric Leech augment that gives extra shields to anyone with max energy. Bless is all about damage mitigation, and comes in handy mostly for high-level shit (key for Law Of Retribution, for example). Downside is needing to manage yourself more closely, as it's fairly reliant on self-damage and maxed strength and duration. Self-damage is because in order to get the coveted 99% damage resistance for your allies, someone has to be down to 1% health, so it's more reliable to slap yourself with the Glaive then pop Bless when you're almost dead (Quick Thinking comes in handy).

I'll just add don't put all your cores/credits into one mod unless you're absolutely sure you want to, keep you base damage, shield and health mods rounded.
Another point is when leveling mods with limited resources try to make the drain level even so it doesn't round up on a matching polarity slot.

The only Vauban build I've been using is a maximum duration and boosted efficiency/range one.
