I'm a little bit miffed that there're so few twists to the story. I mean, since it's all building up to a foregone conclusion I had kinda hoped that it at least wouldn't be just the story of how Manaka won the war and then got killed by Arthur, but that seems to be just about it. The story progresses in a single direction at a steady pace and there doesn't seem to be all that many surprises in store.
