Monk is really hard to play (well) and in desperate need of a buff. Some people are even saying it's "broke" as a class. You could play Kinetic and be a distance monk throwing boulders at people. Try some of the other classes, or suck it up and show you're the best by playing well the hardest class to be good at.
So I just finished picking up every symbol I need for the foreseeable future (6/6 Ultimate Strength, 6/6 Max Recoil, 3/3 Mark of Death, 2/2 Warrior's Creed).
Besides getting 6/6 Mobilization is there anything else I should get?

If you aren't a founder, you must start with one of the three starting classes. Then you progress that class' atlas until Path of the <INSERTCLASS>. For example, if you started a Paladin, you'll level up your Paladin atlas until Path of the Paladin. The moment you unlock that node, the Ascension Atlas will be unlocked. That's a different atlas, where you also progress through nodes unlocking bonuses and talents. In the big Ascension Atlas, there are also class nodes. You progress towards those, slowly.
In my case, I started as a Paladin and wish to unlock Berserker. I am shit out of luck because Berserker and Gunner are the two classes that take longest to unlock. As you can see in the image, I could become a Slayer pretty soon if I wished to.

Warbros recruitment has recommenced on NA. The Ether Projector THREE is now finished and all obelisks have been upgraded to rank3. A4 DOWN! Beat it with 8 people, clutched hard. On to the B distortions at 105k, we'll still have to attune people to A4 but it should be simpler now.

My temples are currently at level 12 (getting first 100% influence today), my ritual ornament is at rank 8 (6/9).
Should I just upgrade my temples, sell the texts and upgrade the ritual ornament/vectors or save the holy texts for the next p2w event (which is probably in jan/feb)?

I'm hoarding all my holy texts. I have three stacks and counting, and still a huge backed-up credit cap to work through. On the cops & robbers event I sunk every penny I had into the event, sold every single sellable item I had, and came up just a few points short for the second optimizer. How does prestige works in dungeons anyway?
I was doing fine with the dungeons prior to Thais Temple but goddamn we died a lot of times from Protheus because two of my party members can't dodge shit and i'm just a Lightbinder.

Most games are normalized, meaning that everyone should do/take approximately the same damage regardless of prestige. Your teammates just suck, Proteus is supposed to one-shot (or close to it), but his attacks are the easiest things in the world to dodge. Just run away from the first phase and circle-strafe the second and you can never get hit.
Also don't forget that he only really takes damage when summoning new adds (his shield is disabled while he summons), so be sure to kill the existing ones.
The only time Prestige isn't normalized is if you group manually and launch using the Launch option (as opposed to Group Finder), but there are some missions which normalize anyway (such as invasion maps).
