Run Speed+ is vital to N-Zap after the run speed buff, Dual Squelcher is a good alternative if you don't like having only 2.5 bars of range.
N-Zap is decent but I'm not giving up the 3.2 range of Dual Squelcher, it's too good when locking out Rollers and competing with other weapons.
If you're really good then H-3 becomes an option, but that's unlikely.

Key is an old regular, I guess he's not as well known here as he used to be but he's an excellent charger user and a very respected member of our community, if you'd been here since the beginning you'd definitely recognize him. CA is more or less the same though being a generally amazing player in general, no offense to Tim or Scarth but if I had to place a bet on who the best /ink/ player is hands down it would be CA, not trying to stroke ego or anything, it's just simple fact and he's also one of the absolute nicest guys this general has to offer.
What I'm trying to do is create a sort of sanctuary for /ink/ users to chill and hang out or talk to eachother during lobbies/squads since it's hard to pay attention to the game and jump back to 4chan and update the thread and scan for posts from your squadmates or things like that and if the thread is entering shitpost mode and we need a fallout shelter we'd have our buddies covered.
This is honestly just a sort of "backup" or "side" /ink/ thread for current going ons or communcating with your fellow /ink/ buddies.

i try to use the hydra so much, i absolutely love it. the way it revs when charging, how far it shoots and spooking people with splat bombs when close and nailing them with a quick charge
it just feels so weak compared to heavy though, maybe it's the lack of sub/special to help it out of situations. seems like it's gone more for a support role but it's so easy to approach the hydra that it kinda falls flat fast, especially with how many maps the heavy is just outright better on

Ah, yeah, I can see how it's a bit unnerving going from shooting ink all the time with shooters vs. the build-up to ink that is splatlings/chargers.
Are you using swim-speed up gear? That will help you feel more evasive, especially with chargers since you can ink a line and swim.

Hydra is too vulnerable between bursts to beat out Heavy as support and is a massive target for Chargers/Inkzooka.
Custom will probably be better overall, but I'm definitely not using either.
Both Hydra and Sloshing machine feel like they need more range to justify use over the "Deco" versions.
