Anyone explain how Penetrate works in the game? The description only states that it always deals elemental damage. Does it mean that physical attacks are now technique-based and are influences by the type chart?

Everfore is decent, You really can't go wrong with her. The only problem is, even for an S class shes completely outclassed in the spirit damage. If you want to use her, I'd suggest raising her to be a debuffer that occasionally uses her techniques.
Casanuva, Komane, Signiton, hell even Appak out damage her on neutral targets. But she's considerably bulkier then all of those targets, and faster too. Plus her ability is really nifty.
I haven't really noticed a real need to bring in all the heavy hitting top tier Yo-kai, seems like you can get through the game and even post game with whoever you want.

You get the Typhoon Fan from Greesels, the white Reuknights are the ones who drop the Revenge Blade.
It looks like at a certain level your attitude stops effecting your scaling. I guess that's nice for when you want to incline them to do a specific thing without it effecting your stat growth.

The youkai i noticed it no longer effecting was in the early 70s. From that point on i tried multiple different attitudes and leveled them with orbs, each time they capped at the same amount.

So I was able to fight snartle earlier and i soft reset a few times attempting to get him but gave up after awhile. I then came back later and he kicks my ass now. How does he scale?

I kinda wished it was possible to reset a yo-kai's level to 1 so that I can get over this loafing thing Insomni has. I love her to death, but being stuck with a carefree attitude is literally killing her in these boss rushes.

I heard that giving youkai the serious life book, orb raising their levels, and resetting can increase their attitudes to being less lazy. Give them the book, raise em up a dozen or so levels, and if they arent stiff or serious just reset and try again.
I havent extensively tested this yet though.
