Nobu is literally called the ultimate game of compatibility in her bio, its stated that her shit all drops when fighting someone she's not super effective against. How effective she is against people is also a scaling chart, its not just automatic EX against anyone with mystery or divinity. Someone with mystery can still kick her ass, depending on how much mystery they have.
