It would make for some interesting gameplay, not to mention it would be easier to bait miners. Also hiding small fleets in asteroid fields would be fun, kind of like using bombers to surprise people when they uncloak, but now you can hide a frigate fleet or something instead.

Well believe it or not regardless of where you go even when you are actively warping to gates at zero, you can still easily get bumped so readily and easily and once you're bumped you can't do anything about it.
The only real way to navigate a freighter is with a web alt but even then suicide pointers completely negate that until the machariel comes along and bumps you so hard you'll never be able to align for minutes

I remember the first day CCP came out with bulkheads for freighters to "combat the gankers" and in reality it changed so little that the very day the patch was issued, some gank squad ganked an empty freighter full of bulkheads then made a post about it saying "it wasn't really that hard, we thought it was going to be near impossible but it turns out the same number of catalysts we were using before works just fine"
Point is, if anyone is stupid enough to fly a freighter, they deserve it. If you absolutely must do it, then do it in a convoy with bunch of RR and webs with you. If this doesn't suit your afk-hauling needs, then use a t2 hauler instead.

I only run L4 missions and I can afford to lose dreads, 1bil machs and triage and replace them easily, and I'm considered poor in my alliance.
Outside of Titans and Supers everything in this game is cheap as fuck.

no thats not what I said, I said that if two fleets have a fight and one fleet kills an expensive ship in the other fleet and that one ship was more valuable entirely than the tens of losses of the first fleet then the latter lost the isk war. The isk war is a huge integral part of fights all over no matter what size or interface they are. Automatically denying this even matters or exists is inherently going against the last 10 years of measuring battles in EVE ever.

Because you don't have to win every battle to win a war. The fact that they exist is because they formed the original mega-conglomerate under one faction title that reigned supreme because they owned the isk. The isk war has always mattered and they had the superior numbers to make it work.
