It's somewhat sweet, it has a bunch of different spices mixed in, and then is mixed with sweetened condensed milk and a few eggs, so it's nice and sweet. The pie mixture is pureed so it's smooth, soft and creamy, but still holds shape. The crust is a basic pie crust.
The whipped cream on top ties the whole thing together though.
I miss Pumpkin pie, I haven't had it forever. My mom usually makes a pear tart since most of my family doesn't like it.
