Here's the dmg on a 35 SKL/40 BT character with full gems. Not amazing but it's definitely a lot of fun to fuck around with, especially against gank squads.

He's hard for the sake of being hard. His sweep attacks and pounding attacks have crazy range and do insane damage (NG+, I don't know about just regular NG). His second form is even worse since his arms now dish out damage to the sides even though he is attacking to his front.
Took me about 4 tries to beat him solo and I just stuck to his left side in both phases and R2 spammed. I would have liked the fight more if he wasn't a reskin of the Cleric Beast and had an actual original beast model considering he was the most powerful and determined cleric who then succumbed to the beastblood.

So far my test results are mixed. Some attacks have minor damage boost from scaling and percentage gems, some are stronger with flat gems.
The absolute best will be 9.8% ARC + flat ARC damage but good fucking luck farming even one, i did 200 attempts so far and got nothing.

wow the Kos form with the kos parasite is stronger than the AR lets on. i am shy of 300 with shit gems and I do a lot of dmg with the AOE and transformed whip attacks. They hit multiple times with each attack so the damage really stacks up. I feel floaty as hell though. Feels kind of good tumbling all over the place.

So the dlc has some of the best bosses to be in a souls type game. However the normal enemies are ass. Every single one of them has a flail move that will get you killed very quickly and easily. Honestly, the hunters at the beginning were the funnest enemies.

Parry the first one all to hell, once he gets down to half HP, take the advantage of him being knocked down after the V attack to get him with the bone blade.
The barehanded guy is way easier to dodge but you may want to keep your distance (not TOO far though to not trigger his rush) and pelt him with Blacksy/Brew or throwing stuff if you feel you're too weak to reliably finish him off with meele. Or just parry him too.

Anybody have any tips for NG+ Laurence? I've been throwing myself at him since yesterday and I still don't feel like I've made any real progress. I can deal with his first form just fine, but once his legs come off, all his attacks have like a 180 radius.

I beat him by staying back and waiting for him to flamethrower and then rushing for a few hits and then falling back.
It's tedious but it works.

hit him only when he does the spit, always make sure you have room behind you as well.
If you want to speed it up stand in the sweet spot when he does 7 hit combo and keep hitting him.

Ya that one might be possible to miss if you kill the first NPC you meet. But leave him alone and towards the end he'll give you a key that helps access the Bloodletter.
