I would imagine it is only a red flag if you have like 999 of said gift. Much like some of these ridiculous images we're seeing of people getting dozens of Lilies, or thousands of Hercs. They have to know the maximum amount of X item you can have as a gift, they have that data ready at hand, it'd be as simple as flagging any account that has more than the highest possible.
I imagine a lot of fucking people did this though, I sure as shit would have if I knew after all, so it'll still probably take fucking forever if they really are doing this.
