Stickies can be broken by shooting them with bullets
Engineer can pack up an erected building into a toolbox with m2 and carry it around, but cannot fight while doing so. Dispensers and teleporters can be upgraded.
Medigun has faster healing on teammates who haven't taken damage for several seconds
Sniper rifle has a .2 second period after scoping in when a headshot won't deal extra damage
Spy can switch his disguise weapon with b (default key) and ammo refills cloak meter. The knife has zero startup before hitting. 20% damage reduction while cloaked.
When someone dies, you can swap your weapon out for theirs if you could normally equip it.

Cosmetics can be obnoxious but they rarely hinder class recognition due to weapon outlines, movement patterns and gait unique to a class and sound design. Those who say it's a big problem either do not actually play the game or are mentally lazy.

Nostalgia. Release TF2 had a lot of balance problems that were only found after the general skill level of the playerbase increased.
Admittedly people have gotten too attached to gimmicky unlocks that make them perform well below what they should.

Most of the stock weapons are still very solid, with the exception of melee unlocks. Try to build up the fundamentals before running unlocks full time.
Learn how to do a basic rocket jump and sticky jump. Holding forward in mid-air does nothing! Strafing does.
Crouching in mid air lets you land on higher ledges.
Assuming your team isn't all snipers and spies, having a medic gives you a huge advantage if the other team doesn't have one.
Avoid 2fort and dustbowl, they are poorly designed maps. Stay away from hightower for now.

The shorter the time of the clip, the easier it is to get decent quality, which is why fragging classes like Soldier and Scout tend to be better for .webms. Webm for Retards is a stupid program though, and often you'll have to render several times with the same settings to get a good outcome.

Hey TF2g, newb to the thread here.
Today I woke up to a random trade offer from someone I don't know for a Killer Exclusive worth 1100+ Keys (according to backpack.tf) and only 2 in existence. The offer was for just 100 Keys with a note saying qs for quicksell.
I'm of the mindset that anything too good to be true usually is, so I did some background checking and it looks like the item has been scammed, which I assume means duplicated, and the profile has a history of trading for scammed items.
I asked on reddit, but the general response was "take the moral highground and don't accept scammed goods", which normally I'd be fine with, but for $1000+ I'm also willing to put morals and the high ground to one side.
My question is, is the item essentially valueless since it's been scammed? Is the value cut in half, or taken down 10%, or 90%, or what? I guess it's just whether I can find someone who'd be willing to trade for it and what they'd be willing to pay?
Any input welcomed, it's a strange scenario to be in and I don't want to be a dumbass whichever way I go.
