Because I am loving Evolved. The changed recipes and mod integration is something I have wanted for a long time. So many mods that I overlooked simply because other mods provided better options for the resources they cost.

I'm not unable to play, never said that. It just gets a frame drop every so often. I'm more just saying I am jealous of people with amazing rigs that can stream this shit with no problems.

Have you tried to "steal" scripts and mods from popular modpack? You can read them and find what you really want, and then remove all the bloat.

I have a question. Possibly a stupid one, but worth a shot.

Say I have two villages some distance apart, but in less than a day's walk from each other. Would it be possible for villagers to travel from one to another?

To restate more specifically... say I want to make a railway between the two towns (I'm using Railcraft if that helps on tech issues). Is it possible to make a minecart that automatically launches when it detects something has entered into it, like a wayward villager or animal? Also how would I get them out of it when they reach their destination?

If this is a stupid idea, please disregard. It's probably useless anyway, since it'd require the chunks to all be loaded.

Although the detecting thing would be handy for my own personal transit, so I don't have to bother with the fucking button.

Like I said, I might be too far away to allow NPCs to travel, but it'd be nice for easy travel for myself. The villages both have things the other doesn't. I can maybe make the mountain village a mining/tech city, and the magical forest village an outpost for all of my wizardry shit.

Not him, but Harvestcraft is the definition of the word "bloat". Out of all those food items, chances are you're going to use maybe or two of them that fully restore your saturation and hunger (Probably wellingtons), the rest are just taking up space.

The only exception is if you also have the Spice of Life (which you do) which forces you to use more than a couple of food item but that mod is also shit since it turns Hunger into a fucking chore that needs your attention every other minute.

By default HO disables being able to plant Pam's crops by using the plant on tilled soil, you need to get a seed instead, but any crop that needs to be planted on water can only be planted using the plant item, so seaweed, cranberries, etc are unusable without changing the config.

Framez is okay but like >>123389282 said, RiM is the best feature-wise. It's able to do things like move an entire cuboid or a connected body of blocks with only one frame block etc so you won't have to spam frames everywhere. Pistronics fits well into a vanilla/lowtech theme but has been buggy as shit in my experience.

I'm testing TC4.2 things out and I have no fucking clue how to work this new centivis shit. Do I have this set up right? My ultimate goal is a Focal Manipulator to enchant wand foci (because enchantment tables are too good for Azanor, apparently).

So, normal nodes you drain with a wand/pedestal, and they recharge over time.
Energised nodes (which produce cv) emit a constant flow of vis, and don't need to recharge - but the amount they emit per tick/second is lower.
Vis and cv aren't compatible, so you can't use a recharge pedestal with energised nodes. Connection wise, you can have multiple branching outputs from a source (node/relay), but can't have multiple inputs to a device/relay. Relays require a line of sight between each other/node, and have a range of about 8?ish - they connect automatically, should see a laser when they do. You can cycle the relay color with a wand to only allow a certain primal through
Wands can be recharged in a worktable now, using the something relay type, placed above the table, and linked to a node. Staves need you to have a vis amulet equipped, and will pull from a nearby relay into its own buffer to recharge a wand/staff in hotbar (unless you're a lazy fuck that uses amber wand cores).

I'm trying to turn railcraft steam into flaxbeard's steam. There's steam in the IE pipe, the pressure converter is the right way round and on the right setting, but there's nothing going into the tank.

That's the one causing issues. No idea why. I loaded through multimc with forge installed, and the game loads up and says some shit about my installation of minecraft being wrong or a mod file is wrong, but i got the 1.8 version of the mod. Maybe I got it from a bad site.
