Yeah, I figured I'd get this question. Piecing together info from the many times Scott and me have discussed the subject, as he's excited about it and I'm somewhat hype (FNAF is a pretty good game, but I'm not exactly that stuck on it like most people are)

Scott's a solo act. ScottGames doesn't have employees and he does all of his games himself. The sheer number of stock sound effects and royalty-free music in them is proof positive that he's got nobody else in his employ. ZUN looks like Gabe Newell by comparison. Considering Sanshee's got the exclusive merch license and FNAF's fad popularity proved CLEARLY too much for them to handle just further reinforces the concept that Scott's a small time operation that lucked into something big. The more and more I look at FNAF 4, the more I've begun to hate it. Even disregarding the fact that it seems to have been made solely to milk more money out of an already stagnant franchise, it goes against everything the series stood for and built upon, including its own fucking lore. The animatronics have all lost their uncanny valley properties, replaced by ridiculous, overly-edgy, over designed pieces of crap, the gameplay has lost all of its uniqueness, abandoning cameras entirely and instead forcing you to do the "turn up ur volume real high ;)" trick from 2006 screamer videos. And the story, by God, the story is so fucking awful, so illogical, contradictory, vague, nonsensical, and just downright STUPID that I'm not even sure if a human wrote it or if Scott just randomly generated a plot and threw it all together into this mess. If the games had ended with 3, perhaps the series could be forgiven for its flaws, it told a nice little story, and it didn't overstay its welcome. 4, though, is probably the worst "finale" Scott could've shit out, and it permanently tarnished an already faltering series. Fuck Scott for making this game, it's a slap in the face to any fans he had left who believed in the series.
