you can do that, but since you're asking a rudimentary question about jungling/vision, I'm assuming you are low-ish elo. thus, the vision gained by your sightstone will be less valuable, because your teammates (who lack strong game sense and map knowledge) are less likely to properly act on this knowledge
what I meant was to use your trinket wards and vision ward to gain selective vision of the enemy jungle, and be able to see where the enemy jungler/laners are at all times. this information will allow you to make aggressive plays, depending on the location of the enemy champions.
for instance, you are red side, and you place a ward at the enemy's blue buff. if you see the enemy jungler and mid laner both go to the blue buff, as a jungler you can group with your bot lane + mid lane to force dragon, since you will outnumber the enemy on that part of the map
you can look up specific warding guides, but generally, you want to ward deeper into the jungle the more pressure your laners have. it is dangerous to walk all the way into the enemy jungle at level 3, because the enemy laners can (theoretically) collapse on you with the enemy jungler and kill you. if you have mid tower down though, and your mid laner is stronger than theirs in a skirmish, it is safer to put wards deeper into the enemy jungle, because you will (again, theoretically) have your laners to back you up

Yeah but I personally don't see many people invading. The most common junglers I've been seeing are actually fucking Rammus and Mundo right now, and those don't really want to invade. Also it's easy to escape an invade as fiddle, just fear and walk away. At early levels they wont have nearly enough movement speed to catch up unless it's a Nidalee or something.

As someone rank 5 with Fiddle, I think he's super fucking good late game, but as is, yeah he wont get there most of the time. Also his items are more expensive. I don't think that makes him bad though, he has pretty good objective control and even though his ulti is on a long cooldown, it's basically a guaranteed kill when you have it.
