Covering Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA, Mirai, Arcade, Taiko no Tatsujin, Osu!, DDR, Stepmania, Beatmania, Pop'n Music, Guitar Hero, Rock Band and more!
I recently started playing Osu!Mania but my hands hurt like hell after a song or two
What should I do?
>>122456804
how fast are the notes?
Really digging the variety of the Xonic OST
Nice change of pace from the usual weeb shit I listen to in Vita rhythm games

Does diva F and F2nd add anything substantial gameplay wise that you couldn't get in the first 3 psp diva games?
>>122457050
Not really fast, I'm still a noob

Maybe you could try having a lighter touch when pressing buttons.
You don't have to bottom out the buttons, press only as far as you need to for it to register, like when typing.
>>122457168
Star flicking and a Different PV ending after chance time. Other than that, it's the same.
>>122457168
not that i've ever played them but i've heard dual wielding wasn't possible then
f adds star notes
and F 2nd adds link notes (which suck) and double star notes
Am I right in understanding that there exists a rhythm game with only 11 songs in it?

Again, Fuck Negi posi
>>122457395
Damn that note segment.
>>122459486
I thanked it while playing DAN
other players were fucking up here constantly but I breezed through
blue circles are the equivalent of star notes
Isn't this thread supposed to be on /jp/?
>>122460586
why would a video game thread go there
>>122460653
Because it was there last I checked?
>>122460710
Why is it there to begin with
>>122460789
It has always been like that, no idea. Most rhythm games are japanese.
>>122460958
I've never been to /jp/ before. Is it worth paying a visit even though I'm not a weeb?
>>122461335
I wouldn't know. I only go there for the onahole general thread.
>>122461335
Time to become a weeb.
>>122461617
I like Vocaloids, some Nintendo games and Osu. Am I a otaku yet?
>>122460653
rhythm game threads are on /jp/ because they're too slow to survive on /vg/
they aren't really intended for non-bemani games though
>>122461443
lolinco is best hole
getting a vita on december and i want all the decent rythm games i can get
list and a brief explanation of whatever is required to reply to this post
Who is your favourite Tokyo 7th Sisters?
project diva F or F2nd?
>>122478793
f2nd
how do i git gud?
>>122458330
It's not out yet, and it's supposed to have multiple songs from each anime involved from it.
I'm curious if it's going to be easier than PDF or the same difficulty
>>122491482
I'm still amazed that people would be willing to pay full price for a rhythm game with only 20 songs, all of them OPs and EDs.
don't die
NICE THREAD
So what are some rhythm games for PC?
havent played any since like project diva 2nd on psp

I wish there was more quality control for Osu!
I like the game itself but the quality of each map varies way too widely for me to consider playing it.
Oh shit, a rhythm game thread
You do know it's probably just eventually going to just devolve into osu shitposting right?
>>122519034
There are tons of songs. You're bound to find some maps/mappers you like
>>122519081
As long as it's not Vocaloid shitposting it's ok
>>122519536
I'm not doubting that there's good songs
But to give an example, I played some maps where the normal mode was reminiscent of early game Guitar Hero easy mode, and hard mode was fucking Project Diva F2nd Extreme.
The mappers for the game suck dick 90% of the time and have no idea how to do something called "difficulty curves"
I'd play even the worst of the Guitar Hero games before I go back into Osu!, because the developers for those at least understand how to balance shit properly.
>>122519776
Hope this helps

is OSU the one with the ball?
I didnt like that very much
anything else?
>>122521147
Taiko/stepmania/beatmania
>>122519536
vocaloid shitposting is ok
so long as it's not fucking miku monday shitposters
>>122527767
>this general exists solely because of a miku monday thread
>immediately start shitting on miku monday
what in the everloving fuck is wrong with you
>>122529120
Are you that guy who bitched and moaned about his stupid circlejerk general dying because this thread got made?
>>122529445
literally who
more importantly, why would you go into a thread if you think it's just a shitty circlejerk anyway?>implying generals aren't the single biggest circlejerks on the entire site
>>122529562
still better than having the same 10 people from steam go full avatarfag instead of discussing miku games
>>122535090
well that's a good point
i don't mind general vocaloid discussion on miku monday, even if it doesn't involve the games, but does at least involve the music, but sometimes shit goes too far.
>you can't look underneath miku's skirt in project diva
fucking prudes, man
God damn Xonic leaderboards aren't working properly
been trying to update my score since last night
bumpu
>>122539770
finally
broke top ten local
>4trax
I know
but it means a lot to me
>>122545753
Nice!
Can anyone recommend some good 3 star osu tracks to practice? I'm just starting this game, so addicting. I'm learning really fast though.
>>122548312
Thanks, sorry for not reading the very short thread.
Oh man I almost lost my 70820 combo in Xonic out of sheer stupidity
i've never exited out of a game as fast as I did then
>trying to beat crack trax in osu mania on hard
feeling like i'd have a better chance just mashing the keyboard at this point
