There's content in the higher level zones, there's just a bottleneck in exp that funnels everyone into demon prison while sitting on a mound of exp cards. Korea had 3 closed betas, and are going into open beta next month. Our second closed beta was supposed to match their 3rd, but we're still behind on a couple patches. Maybe they'll skip doing a 3rd closed beta for international and go straight to open beta, but who knows how long that will take.

Pyro 2 is nice. The jump from 5 to 10 hits per Fireball is pretty worthwhile. Very few monsters, even the fire resistant ones will survive it. Outside of instance monsters, obviously. The only Worthwhile Ele skill at circle 1 is Hail. Prominence won't come close to Level 10 Fireballs practical damage until later circles. Electrocute is too cumbersome. Even if it does combo well with Links.
As for the other things that come with Pyro 2. Fire Pillar has an awful cooldown. So point investment feels bad. Even if the skill is mechanically pretty good. Firewall, while needing a lot of points to not be terrible (hit count increase) is more useful. Pyro 2 will grant you those points.

Tried the Cafrisun Set on archer and then again with the meme dagger.
It's 12 damage unless you use the meme dagger to double dip, which turns it into a 165 extra hit.
Hitting earth weak monsters for +50% damage actuall doubles the damage to about 300-350 for whatever reason.
Doesn't proc another hit of Steady Aim.
It's probably still worth using along with the meme dagger and potential party buffs but losing out on Rokas Leather Armour and Vubbe Fighter Gauntlets is kinda questionable.

Falconer is horrible, easily in the top 3 worst classes in the game if not the worst.
Hunter is decent if you already leveled your pet with anothr character, it has wonky AI, but it spams rush dog all the time for free, if your pet is underleveled half his hits will be for 1 and your pet has a tendency to ignore commands if you aren't in line with the enemy or the pet is too far.

Pets don't leech any of your EXP anon. They simply gain extra. They gain experience just from walking as well and I'm sure you don't.
They have their entirely own EXP that they gain that isn't scaling from you. You can hit F9 and check their experience.
You can also use an EXP tool to see it for yourself.
I have a level 160 pet and he is worthless to me in level 195 as far as damage goes. I even put a few 100k to all of his main stats, he is however an excellent distraction.
The beauty of these beasts come from the ability of being able to use them on alts. You can literally take your level 160 pet on your level 1 alt and let him grind your character while you sleep or have him 1 shot bosses that would take you 30 minutes of hitting.
It opens up making pure support alts that would otherwise take forever to level as well.
They are the best tools for making alts and this game on release you WILL be making alts for a variety of reasons. I'll list a few:
1. Dungeon runs - they are so limited that it's just best to have multiple characters. This way you can do a dungeon not 2 times a day but 4 times a day for chances of getting rare loot.
2. Shops - Alchemists, Squires, buyout shops.
3. Variety - You can log in a support character your friends / team needs the best. You can log in a character that farms more effectively.
4. Storage - I'm sure the shared storage will be limited as fuck and you will be creating alts to store all the materials you might need.
5. iCoins - it's not confirmed for release, but at least in this beta you earn iCoins by doing all kinds of shit and they are SHARED among all your characters. I would wager that the main game will be the same, except expect the iCoins be worth much less like a STAT reset scroll costing 500 iCoins or something like that.

For me I bought one on my mage at level 70 or so when I first could afford one.
He was disappointing to me. Couldn't do anything. He did level up fast.
10 of my main characters levels later he was around level 50. Still useless to me.
At this point I made a new character and started leveling him. I had the pet level 50 with me at all times and it made the early levels to 50 a breeze. He would keep leveling even when I did low level areas but eventually I cought up to him.
They don't gain any experience from you using cards, but every kill you do seems to give them EXP and the EXP they gain depends on the monster EXP but it doesn't substract it from you or your party at all.
The pet kept up with me as I kept him with at all times and especially in grind prison he leveled the most.

So I made it to sapper, even with the power of money carrying my ass archer 1 and 2 were still hellishly unfun.
Now I've got to ask, what's the trick sapper?
Stake Stockades are amazing but also not.
See I put one down and every enemy aggros it, immediately rushing to beat the shit out of it.
If I make a mob train to drop stakes on, I get the original 3 hits on them, but no more as I lose the aggro to the stakes.
and I cannot regain the aggro in time to lure enemies back onto the stakes, let alone get the 50,000 enemies the stakes aggro'd on me so I can lure them in.
Generally it seems like I either put down 1 stake to get clumped, then drop the second, then blow them up because I'll never get anything to touch them again.
This seems really, really dumb.
Am I supposed to just conceal the stakes immediately?
Fighting the aggro on my own traps is not fun.
