let's be real, there are some kind of interesting/mildly innovative IDEAS involved with the damage system, but for the most part it all comes off as a poor man's ripoff of a few other games... it doesn't hit that sweet spot for complexity/choice relative to accessibility, unless you just play on mercury and it doesn't matter at all
I can't actually point to one other game that has an elemental combination system where you slot in mods (in whatever form, enchants, etc) quite like this one, but there are plenty of online PVE games (proper MMO or squad-based like PSO2 etc) that have done elemental damage systems, armor, reduction, etc formulas correctly (or at least better)
