I put another hour or so into the Grandeur.
It's mostly useful when sighted. The difference between the hipfire and the aimed fire is pretty drastic, especially when maxing out the rof - which is necessary in a lot of situations. I found myself sighting in and whriling about in close quarters to mild success, probably due to the rifle's high damage and the low level players I was facing.
It's better than I thought but still not as good as the Dreiss or PDP, imo.

Redeye, the merc that is more viable than kira, arty, vassili at the moment is getting lot of buffs.

I don't think these Redeye buffs are going to make him any more useful, or bring him near to par with other mercs.

Smoke is supposed to be area denial because people don't know what's on the other side, or cover to conceal movement, but it doesn't quite work that way in a multiplayer game like this, where people can be revived or just respawn. All it does is let the enemy know you and possibly your team are nearby somewhere.
You can use it in combat to shoot at people that can't see you back but how hard is it to get out of LOS from the cloud? Not hard at all. Redeye is not a scary merc to face in any way. If his teammates could see through his smoke and shots through the smoke removed tracers, then he'd be a more team oriented merc useful in assisting pushes.

The thing killing this game is neglect.
Core is fun.
But simple things like optimization both game and servers. Bug fixes that ruin games. Anti cheat. Game balance, making more loadouts useful with more unique perks. Not crippling entire mercs and their weapon loudouts.
Releasing more maps with more interesting mechanics. Dome is a step, but they should have something like that every 1-2 months.
