The item numbers don't update correctly but you can still use the "missing" items to build stuff and if you manually change the counts by adding more it will update to the amount you added plus the missing items.

What I am curious is: what do you think would make enemies truly difficult?
My outlook would be to make them fight smarter, like when a swarm attacks you they disperse as soon as you see them and try to flank you. That they use their skills more intelligently like super mutants use knockdown skills one after the other to basically juggle you and keep you helpless. (Which, admittedly would be a pain in the ass but the lesson there is don't let them get in knockdown range)

Great armor on the top floor. And a costume that you can use for a quest later.
Ghouls. I recommend bringing a couple mines for the stronger ones, crippling a leg helps.
A warning though, the axe is meant for VATS. It has hilariously low AP cost for its damage. If you don't use VATS it'll get outclassed.
