Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of getting back into WoW and bringing with me a friend who hasn't played the game before at all.
That's why I'd like to ask a few questions:
1. What are two good classes that are easy for beginners to learn and are still viable in the "late game" with relatively few buttons?
We don't have the time to go full autism on this one, so a class that isn't too crazy on micromanageing 60 skills at once would be nice.
2. Apparently now it's possible to transmog gear and make it look like different pieces. Is that possible for items that aren't for your class?
I stumbled across pic related ("Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Dreadplate Helm"), but apparently that helmet design is DK only. Would there be ANY way to use it for a helmet on a warrior or paladin?
3. How alive/dead is world PvP?
When I stopped playing, you couldn't quest for 10 minutes without somebody trying to kill you (or being about to kill somebody) as soon as you entered Hillsbrad or Stranglethorn. Is that still possible?
4. Is there much to do after reaching max level BESIDES raiding?
We played DAoC back in the day and are still fans of large scale PvP, so that's what we'd mostly like to do later on.
5. Which (PvP)servers on EU (UK/GER) have a good A/H balance while still being relatively full?
We really don't want to start playing on servers that have 5000 horde players and 100 ppl on alliance (or vice versa).
We'd be grateful for some answers.

I've given pretty distinct benchmarks of power that we've obtained, and listed the beings we've killed off. We're also becoming the leader of our class, and granted a powerful artifact as our weapon, after having been trained by Wrathion to combat the threat of the Legion. EU world pvp is still alive I can confirm. you need to know where to look for it, but its there. most common places at the moment are grimfrost hill in frostfire ridge, daily areas and sometimes nagrand where people gank levellers, try burning blade village or ogre fort.

1. Don't play twitchy specs. Enhance comes to mind. Most ranged specs are pretty easy.
2. I don't think you can transmog any class specific gear unless you're playing that class. However, there are a lot of lookalikes items.
3. World PvP is relative to your server. If your server is 50/50 and has high pop, wPvP is probably alive.
4. Not right now. Well, there's a new PvP season coming up in 6.2.3 but that's it. I think most people are just leveling alts or hoarding gold, to be honest.

I actually don't have a single fucking clue what we're going to be doing story wise in Legion besides going to the Broken Isles and fighting the Burning Legion.
Just from watching the cinematic it's pretty much a complete mystery to me.
In Vanilla, you watched the cinematic and knew you were going to be playing a bunch of cool races and classes and fighting against each other on factions.
In BC, you knew we were going to be able to play as Draenei or Blood Elves and we were going to be fighting Illidan.
In Wrath, you knew we were going to be fighting the Lich King.
In Legion, not a fucking clue. We're going to hold hands together and fight the Burning Legion. That's all I've got. If it's anything like previous expansions, they're completely going to change the focus of the expansion half way through and we end up fighting some bad dude shoehorned in out of nowhere and the story just makes no fucking sense anymore.

I actually had no idea the cinematic even took place in the Broken Isles until someone told me it did. They showed a scene with a map with a symbol on some land but I have no idea what that symbol means because I'm not really a lorefag. The entire cinematic to me was just Varian and Sylvannas fighting some Burning Legion while on zeppelins, it wasn't very good at conveying context at all unless you had prior information to what was actually going on.
