You dont need gimmicks to make dungeons interesting. But instead of filling a dungeon with endless trash how about they try to craft mob groups where you need to actually think about your approach rather than "run in their and spam your shit".
Less quantity, more quality. And the rewards for the dungeon blow balls. None of the mobs drop materials, the boss drops one cube that most likely gives you a useless card.

That's not how the leather mastery works. At 50, it'll give you 75 total evasion if you're wearing 4 pieces.
3 pieces is 1 evasion per level.
4 pieces is an extra .5 per level
