People rarely pay money for level 25 pets now, especially now that its so easy to get insta-25 stones and free level up stones. You can level a battlepet from 1 to 25 extremely easily provided you have the right 2-pet carry team (and all hardcore battlepetters already do).

I like the zone scaling system. Artifacts and class halls look alright but I want to see what the Halls look like for the classes I play (DK, Warlock) before I give my final judgement. Warlock demo artifact looks neat, however the spec is still highly dependent on a revamp on to whether or not it is playable. DH looks like an extremely mobile class so it might actually be fun to play, I'm kind of sick of how slow and fat dks feel (blizzard desperately needs to fix this).

I think it would make more sense to make beast master melee. They are much more agressive and irrational. When I think about a hunter that focus on surviving, the least I imagine them doing is engaging in close quarter combat. I'd say they should rely on traps, venom, camouflage and misdirection.
Then again you have indians and natives that used to charge naked against gunned men with poison tipped spears. They never implied survival was a clever spec, just resourceful.
