Even if you were one of the 15% who got lucky XD and got a rare on their first cube, you still have an entire rare set to get.

In other words, solely because of his gear, I have to hit Timmy either 1.23 or 1.43 times as much than he has to hit me. If it takes 5 "combo opportunities" for Timmy to kill me, it takes me 6 or 7 to kill him.

It's still a difference facing a guy in full Legacy when you're using full rares - about 10-20% instead of 22-42%.
PvP sucks. Goldbuyers definitely have the advantage. I haven't even gone into how reinforcement affects things, but you want everything at +10, that's for sure. It's probably easily another 10% on top of everything else.

Also there's basically no actual reason to do it. We haven't seen the rewards you can get with the points, the event for some ungodly reason is 1 win/day, meaning that it's going to take 3/10 days to get anything out of it, and that it barely requires any time investment.
The only reason people would PvP at this point is because that's what they were doing before the update.

Witch and definitely battlemage are not good with lag, though. It's really tough to scrub people in lag, and witch has poor zoning compared to elementalist.

I got banned from ranked, that's why I'm not doing it every day. It's the only damn fresh content we've had in months, of course I'd do it.
I've searched for the ranked rewards, google, nexus, reddit, what have you. I haven't ever found them.
