A friend of mine wants to purge the game and start anew without Flowey taunting him about his murderous deeds.
Where are the "hidden" save files for the non-steam version to start anew?

I went full true Pacifist niggers, but i can't blame my friend for wanting to start anew, since he played without knowing literally anything about how it works.
I know a True reset does that, but i don't want to spoil my friend telling him how to get it, so if you can just say how to make the game clean if he doesn't use Steam. Thanks in advance guys.

once I beat him, is the ending literally just me killing him for a soul? and also flowey just telling me 'nothing's changed do a genocide run instead'? I thought more would happen.

You could look at it two ways.
1: His violence is entirely orchestrated by chara taking control.
2: Frisk is a further characterization of our desire to do the right thing in games. Just think of how many people who do the genocide run express regret afterwards.
