Hmm, gonna go with Dark Souls 3 here bub. I know Sonyggers will go with Bloodborne due to it being the only saving grace of a PS4 right now and PCucks will go with DS3 due to NEVER EVER Bloodborne and what not but as a glorious idort, I prefer Bloodbornes setting and DS3s everything else

Didn't think so. Demon Souls to me is that game you pick to show that you were "a Souls fan before the series became popular!". It's the die hard contrarian choice, playing Demon Souls after Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls 1 just shows you how obsolete it is, the gameplay is easy, the game overall feels dated compared to DS3 and DS1 and the bosses were meh tier at best not to mention the mediocre OST (for me personally).
Now before you say "MUH SETTING" for Bloodborne, just acknowledge that setting is purely subjective and something I also agree with, I loved BBs setting but overall, I'm confident in saying DS3 is the best and most complete Souls game straight out of the boss. The series as a whole is excellent (even DS2 to some extent was decent, the people saying it was "shit" only to find over 70+ hours of playtime in their Steam accounts truly strikes me as autism) but Dark Souls 3 is the best.
Fun fact (DSP died more than 100 times in DS3 compared to any other Soulsborne playthrough and he had to summon to beat Nameless King. he died the least in Bloodborne pre DLC).

The only reason DS3 keeps getting more votes is because it's a multiplat, and therefore more people have played it and can vouch for its quality rather than Bloodborne.

I played both and DS3 is better than Bloodborne, but only just, primarily due to the Old Hunters DLC which is legitimately the best thing From has ever produced. DS3 vs. vanilla Bloodborne is a complete nobrainer, though.
Dark Souls 3 has better bosses but I just don't want to replay it.
I went straight to NG+ BB right after I beat DaS3 and am having way more fun.
However, DaS3 feels complete compared to BB at launch.
Gehrman and Soul of Cinder were both great final bosses too.
It's gonna take some time to decide which is better, and there's still DLC coming that might just change some minds...

DS3 was a boneless fanservice game full of clones, at least BB had it's own game play, characters and setting, can't wait to plat it so I can go back to BB.

I prefer bloodborne. I'm glad from is done with sequels for a while I just don't think they're very good at them. DeS DS and BB all feel fresh and fantastic.
I don't give a shit about exclusivity, I honestly wish pc dudes could have bloodborne as well, I think it's something really special.
I hope their next game is a new ip where they take some risks.

The formula is much more conducive to single, isolated and complete stories than sequels.
DS2 and 3 are the big offenders of this.
DS1 would've been an offender as well, but the way the game played out was significantly different than Demon's Souls while still having a lot of the themes, and it also came in well before franchise fatigue had set in.
DS2 and 3 aboslutely feel cheap and rushed, and lacking soul. Demon's, DS1 and Bloodborne have a freshness about them that Dark Souls 2 and 3 will never be able to have.
